[Hiring] Donor Operations Coordinator @The Good Food Institute

Role Description

In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide service-oriented support to the Development, Finance, and program teams by maintaining accurate, timely gift data in Salesforce and responding quickly to the data needs of internal stakeholders. You will be the go-to resource for the fundraising team’s day-to-day data questions.

• Serving as the primary point of contact for gift data inquiries from the Development, Finance, and program teams.
• Triaging and prioritizing competing requests from multiple internal stakeholders.
• Partnering with the Development Operations team to identify recurring pain points.
• Maintaining a solutions-first approach during high-pressure fundraising periods.
• Entering donor gifts into Salesforce on a consistent weekly basis.
• Processing and entering third-party fundraiser (TPF) gifts on a monthly basis.
• Following established SOPs for all gift entry and surfacing process gaps.
• Reviewing data quality reports regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Processing gift acknowledgments electronically or via postal mail in a timely manner.
• Maintaining and updating acknowledgment templates as needed.
• Coordinating with the Development team on special acknowledgment needs.
• Supporting the Development team with bulk data imports and updates.
• Supporting the gift reconciliation process between Salesforce and financial accounting systems.
• Running standard Salesforce reports on request.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience providing service-oriented support to fundraising or other data-driven teams.
• Systems-oriented thinker who can see how the data pieces fit together.
• Demonstrated experience with data entry in Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
• Clear and proactive written and verbal communication style.
• Comfort managing multiple concurrent, competing requests.
• Ability to perform self-directed work while remaining responsive to the team.
• Availability to support GFI’s year-end fundraising activity.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising operations and donor management preferred.
• Experience with third-party fundraising platforms and/or Apsona preferred.
• Prior experience in an internal operations support position preferred.

Requirements

• Part-time, 20 hours per work week, exempt.
• Reports to: Paul Bradley, Director of Development Operations.
• Location: Remote; United States.
• Travel: Up to two weeks per year for organization retreats.
