[Hiring] Document Controller @Better-Pros

Role Description

Are you the master of precision and organization? Can you spot a superseded drawing revision in a sea of construction documents? Do you take satisfaction in knowing that a year from now, anyone can open the record and see exactly what was built and why? If you can handle critical technical documentation with utmost precision and keep a project's paper trail airtight, our client needs you! This position supports projects in the Bahamas, so availability to work on Eastern Time (ET) is required.

What you'll do:

• Track and manage project documentation across its full lifecycle, from issue through project closeout.
• Control drawing revisions so the current version is the only one in circulation.
• Log and track RFIs and submittals from issue through response and closure.
• Memorialize change orders and drawing updates so there's always a clear record of what's actually being built.
• Ensure project documents follow the company's standards and manage the documentation flow between contractors, architects, and the project team.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports on document status as needed.

Qualifications

• +2 years of experience as a Document Controller or similar role.
• Hands-on Procore experience. This is the one that matters most — we need someone who can genuinely operate the platform, not someone who has seen it. Be ready to demonstrate it in a technical assessment.
• Experience working in a construction company or similar.
• Solid command of drawing revisions, RFIs, and submittals in a live construction environment.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel.
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
