Role Description

MMNA is seeking a District Aftersales Manager to join the South Region team. As a DAM, you are a member of the team that liaises directly with MMNA’s dealer partners, with responsibility for:

• Developing long-term professional relationships with dealer partners in your assigned District.
• Consulting with dealer partners to drive Aftersales performance.
• Serving as a brand ambassador within the District.
• Increasing profitability in parts, accessories, and service.
• Optimizing the customer experience.
• Assisting dealer partners in operating a well-managed and strategic Aftersales business.
• Ensuring positive brand awareness and loyalty.
• Implementing Momentum 2030, Mitsubishi Motors’ long-term business plan.

You will serve as a partner to 13 dealers in South Florida. Preference will be given to those who reside in the Miami, FL area. Frequent travel to the dealers in your district is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional exempt level automotive retail/wholesale experience.
• Prior automotive retail sales experience such as Service Representative, Service/Parts Manager, etc.
• Deep understanding of what drives customer behavior, improves the customer experience, increases sales out of the service drive, and increases retention and loyalty.
• Deep understanding of dealership operations and systems on the Aftersales side of the business.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, from customers to members of MMNA leadership.
• Working knowledge of vehicle technology, vehicle systems, maintenance, and parts and accessories functionality.
• Must maintain a valid unconditional driver’s license and an approved driving record.
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking.

Requirements

• Regularly communicate with and visit dealer partners, serving as a consultant on Aftersales operations.
• Leverage knowledge of dealership parts/service operations and Aftersales programs to identify revenue-generating opportunities.
• Review dealer partner financial statements and systems to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Assist dealer partners in operational troubleshooting and provide training on best practices.
• Drive Aftersales performance by consulting with dealer partners on achieving profitability targets.
• Work cross-functionally with various departments to improve operations.
• Advise Regional Management of issues with dealer partners related to adherence to policies and procedures.
