[Hiring] Distributed Organizer @Red Wine & Blue

Role Description

Red Wine & Blue’s distributed organizing program is looking for a full-time Distributed Organizer to support and guide grassroots leaders across the Pacific U.S. In this role, you’ll help volunteers develop and grow their own RWB network groups within our national grassroots movement.

• Build relationships and get to know passionate individuals.
• Brainstorm creative ways to support their efforts.
• Provide encouragement and hands-on support as they take their first steps into leadership.

Qualifications

• Natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in relational organizing is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with people of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous work with competing priorities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and plan days to meet goals.
• Growth mindset with a willingness to take risks and learn from failures.
• Ability to balance serious work with a sense of fun.

Requirements

• Full-time position that can be performed from anywhere in California or Oregon.
• Occasional (quarterly) travel required for in-person meetings and events.
• Evening and weekend availability required for in-person events.
