[Hiring] Director/Team Lead, Oncology Field Access & Reimbursement @Pfizer

Role Description

Pfizer Commercial Oncology is introducing the world to the next era of cancer care. The Director/Team Lead, Oncology Field Access & Reimbursement – East Region is responsible for leading and coaching the Oncology Field Reimbursement Directors (FRDs) within the East region, focusing on executing a patient-first approach to impact the patient access journey across the region.

• Report directly to the Senior Director, National Oncology Field Access and Reimbursement Lead.
• Responsible for all Oncology products including oral oncolytics, IV and injectables, and co-promotes.
• Ensure regional alignment with the strategic vision of Pfizer Oncology's access and reimbursement strategies.
• Lead the team’s transformation to a proactive, data-led engagement model to identify accounts’ educational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with market access and/or coding and reimbursement.
• General understanding of oncology reimbursement, including payer dynamics, utilization management, and patient services.
• Access and reimbursement experience across both oral and infused/injectable products.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to compliance guidelines.
• Ability to define goals and lead a team in executing on goals and delivering on metrics.
• Matrixed leadership experience with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Proven track record of collaborating with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
• Training in responsible business communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee the work of colleagues.
• Must be able to work during Eastern Time Zone hours and frequently travel within the East region.

Requirements

• MBA, MHA, MPH, and/or additional certification in coding and reimbursement preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in people leadership, including management of direct reports.
• Experience in leading and motivating a team through change.
• Oncology market experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, including collaboration and networking abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Benefits

• Annual base salary ranges from $189,200.00 to $315,400.00.
• Eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary.
