Role Description

The Market Director of Procurement is a senior field-based leader accountable for driving procurement execution at scale across a defined market of 50 to 100 ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and surgical hospitals, often spanning multiple states. This role translates enterprise procurement / supply chain strategy into disciplined, measurable execution that delivers financial performance, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.

• Partnering closely with Market Chief Financial Officers (MCFOs), Market Chief Strategy Officers (MCSOs), Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), and Tenet / USPI Corporate Procurement leadership.
• Owns procurement-related outcomes across market expansion, facility optimization, and ongoing operations.
• Highly visible role with frequent engagement across market leadership and corporate executives.
• Requires a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive accountability, support field operations, and enable consistent execution across a diverse, geographically dispersed portfolio.
• Provides indirect leadership to a broad Materials Management organization that can exceed 100 FTEs within a given market.
• This position will be for Western US territory; ideal candidates would be located near a major airport in either Arizona, California, or Nevada.
