[Hiring] Director of Orthodontic Operations @MB2 Dental

Role Description

The Director of Orthodontic Operations' primary responsibility is to provide strategic oversight and mentorship of Operations, while also being directly responsible for the operational and financial success of multiple dental practices across the United States. The Director serves operating Dentist owners by holding direct reports accountable to day-to-day practices that meet immediate needs while positioning the practice for growth. The Director is skilled and experienced at:

• Creating annual budgets
• Strategic planning
• Project management
• Talent calibration
• Growth and development plans
• Financial statement analysis
• Verbal and written communication
• Modeling professional, ethical, and highest standards of behavior

This is a remote position with required travel approximately 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the orthodontic field is required
• 2+ years of multi-site experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
• Proficiency in delegation and remote management
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective communication across all organizational levels

• Partner with operating owners and executive leadership to make operational decisions

• Review operating performance results and implement corrective action as needed
• Partner with dedicated corporate departments and executive team members to design sustainable and scalable programs
• Be strategic; understand operational areas of opportunity and execute plans to grow and enhance the business
• Organize all projects, initiatives, and programs via project charters
• Thoroughly understand key performance indicators and drivers
• Assess practice needs and strategically plan to make improvements
• Keep up to date on industry trends, related current events, and best practices
• Hold team members accountable for annual training requirements, performance reviews, and other company requirements
• Provide thoughtful, documented, timely, and helpful feedback to direct reports
