Role Description

An outstanding, full-time opportunity is currently available for a Director of Lumber experienced in hardwood, lumber, and forestry to join a highly stable organization. This role will cover 4 locations within Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.

• Oversee multiple plant managers
• Drive to multiple locations across Wisconsin (WI) and the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) to help manage production, maintenance, and safety of mills
• Interact with various departments including log procurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience within the hardwood, lumber, or forestry industry
• Strong knowledge of National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) grading rules (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in improving productivity and reducing cost in a production environment (preferred)
• Bachelors in Forestry or related field (required)
