Role Description

Director, HEOR Strategy Ovarian Lead (HSOL) – directs, develops, organizes, and implements the ovarian cancer (OCa) HEOR strategy with concurrence of functional management to allow the development of each asset to proceed expeditiously and smoothly toward registration, PR&A and market launch in compliance with national and international governmental regulations for various asset programs, including ovarian cancer adjacencies. HSOL reports to Senior Director, Solid Tumor Oncology HEOR Strategy Team Lead and may have 1-4 direct reports.

  • Accountable for the creation of OCa HEOR strategy and plans for all products within the OCa portfolio.
  • Directs the design, conduct, and analysis of projects within each product area strategy across multiple programs.
  • Interacts with cross-functional leaders for OCa disease area and communicates findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developing and executing HEOR product life-cycle and labeling strategies in the post-marketing setting.
  • Integrates expressed needs for value demonstration from customers with the direction of the commercial organization.
  • Assumes full scientific HEOR strategic support of commercialization activities.
  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of HEOR book of work from strategy development to content pull through.
  • Ensures strong partnership with all relevant Value & Evidence functions.
  • Partners with Solid Tumor Team Lead to shape OCa oncology patient access policy environment.
  • Establishes external alliances to drive OCa Oncology payer/pathway centric evidence generation.
  • Develops OCa oncology enterprise research partnerships with academic and community oncology centers.
  • Leads development of evidence across the oncology enterprise to understand population diversity across OCa.
  • Measures and communicates the impact of payer/pathway and other oncology evidence partnerships to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree minimum required (e.g. MSc, MPH, PhD).
  • 10+ years of experience required with MSc/MPH/MBA degree; 7+ years of experience required with PharmD/PhD in HEOR or relevant related fields.
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of fundamental health services research methods and tools.
  • HEOR experience in diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated HEOR performance in high-quality, high-speed dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with HTA organizations such as NICE, IQWIG, CADTH, MSAC, ICER and other HTA groups.
  • Experience with IDN/GPO/collaborative groups on external research partnerships.
  • Capable of independently managing complex non-interventional study projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the processes for developing health technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess anticipated value for projects/programs.
  • An "execution mindset" focused on getting things done quickly and simply.
  • Strong project management abilities essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects involving complex processes.
  • Ability to influence key members of medical, clinical, and commercial teams constructively.
  • Skilled in functioning within a matrix organization.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Change-oriented, comfortable responding to unexpected demands.
  • Knowledge and experience in early drug development and commercialization.
  • Direct experience leading others with a strong track record of stakeholder engagement.
