Role Description

The Director, Global Value, Access & Pricing – NSCLC develops and drives execution of global value, access, and pricing strategies for assigned NSCLC assets and indications. The role ensures payer, HTA, pricing, and evidence requirements inform clinical development, launch preparation, and lifecycle planning to enable timely, sustainable patient access across priority markets.

The Director serves as a core global GVAP lead on cross-functional teams, translating strategy into evidence, pricing, and launch plans. The role partners closely with HEOR, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, Medical Affairs, and Regional Market Access to align global and regional execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive implementation of global value, access, and pricing strategies for assigned NSCLC assets and indications, including launch sequencing, pricing architecture, reference pricing considerations, and net price corridor management across priority markets.
• Lead development of the global value story and payer evidence requirements for assigned NSCLC assets, partnering with HEOR on evidence plans, evidence-gap assessments, and early-advice preparation.
• Assess NSCLC competitive dynamics, including line-of-therapy positioning, biomarker-driven access and companion-diagnostic testing considerations, and combination-therapy reimbursement implications.
• Lead cross-functional EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) readiness activities, aligned with global JCA strategy and in collaboration with regional Market Access and HEOR teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, HEOR, and Medical Affairs functions.
• Partner with regional teams on local pricing, reimbursement, and negotiation readiness; synthesize regional insights and risks for global decision-making.
• Provide market access input into clinical development programs to optimize endpoints, comparators, and evidence packages for payer and HTA success.
• Provide access and pricing analyses and recommendations to lifecycle planning and business development evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree Ph.D., PharmD, MD, or MSc in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in market access and pricing, including significant global and/or major-market responsibility.
• Strong experience in pricing & reimbursement of oncology products.
• Deep understanding of global payer systems and HTA processes across Europe (e.g., NICE and G-BA/AMNOG), Japan, and the United States.
• Experience designing and implementing global pricing strategy, including value-based pricing, launch sequencing, and reference pricing mitigation.
• Experience with pricing regulations, early pricing analysis, and partnering with affiliates on pricing and reimbursement negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to support clinical development to satisfy payer/HTA evidence needs.
• Experience engaging HTA and payer organizations in early advice to inform development and trial strategies.

Salary Range

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is $201,000 — $251,000 USD. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the base pay salary range for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in.
