Role Description

Be part of a high-growth digital and customer experience consulting firm that is growing by over 50% in the last year and is forecasting growth of 50% year on year in the next two years. As the Director of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of the ecommerce practice, defining and leading practice vision, services, solutions, and competencies in line with current and future market needs. You shall be responsible for the delivery of class-leading solutions and services in a client consulting environment. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity where you will be responsible for the P&L of the entire practice and will have autonomy in conducting business operations under the overall vision of the organization. The compensation will be fixed base + profit sharing from the practice + equity% in the company.

• Define, plan & execute a short- & long-term strategy for the practice.
• Be responsible for generating opportunity pipeline across a broad range of industry verticals.
• Create value proposition for Go-to-Market strategy, develop offerings, solutions, and capabilities to create a differentiating position for the company in the market.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with partners and vendors.
• Engage customers as a thought leader by building and leading an elite pool of architects/specialists.
• Lead workshops, client meetings, and RFPs; manage sales pipeline from opportunity to closure/delivery and participate in proposal development, commercial and contract negotiations.
• Manage Presales - solutioning - sales enablement responsibilities for practice.
• Build and nurture a talented pool of specialists in practice as a people manager.
• Establish connects with industry stakeholders and manage analyst relationships.
• Evangelize our work and serve as a thought leader.

Qualifications

• A seasoned professional with 12 years of industry experience with a spread of 5+ years of web development experience with emphasis on e-commerce platform implementations.
• Experience in architecting global, large-scale eCommerce solutions.
• Deep commerce expertise in multiple enterprise commerce platforms like Hybris, Demandware, or Magento.
• Ecommerce implementation experience.
• Experience driving growth of an ecommerce practice either as a leader or part of the team.
• Should have had impact on revenue.
• Prior experience of RFP and RFI responses.
• Thought leader who can manage the process of innovative change effectively and remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
