[Hiring] Digital Lead @DMI

Role Description

DMI is seeking an experienced Digital Lead to join our offshore team in India. This role will focus on modernizing DMI’s internal digital initiatives, website ecosystem, and marketing technology operations through a combination of SharePoint expertise, Confluence-to-SharePoint migration experience, AI-assisted development, automation, and digital experience optimization.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with:

A major expectation of this role is the ability to use generative AI, agentic AI, vibe coding platforms, AI code assistants, low-code/no-code tools, and automation frameworks to improve DMI’s website and digital assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• SharePoint Migration & Digital Delivery
  • Lead and support migration initiatives from platforms like Confluence to SharePoint Online.
  • Design scalable SharePoint information architecture.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define migration requirements and governance rules.
  • Conduct pre-migration audits to identify outdated content.
  • Support migration execution using relevant tools.
  • Ensure migrated content is searchable and well-structured.
  • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness.
• AI-Assisted Transformation, Automation & Innovation
  • Use AI tools to modernize DMI’s website and digital assets.
  • Support AI-enabled improvements for digital assets.
  • Rapidly prototype applications using AI-assisted development platforms.
  • Build lightweight applications and automation scripts.
  • Apply AI tools for content migration and classification.
  • Support AI-driven optimization for SEO and content visibility.
  • Ensure responsible AI usage.
• SharePoint Administration, Governance & Optimization
  • Manage SharePoint Online environments.
  • Establish governance practices for content lifecycle.
  • Configure and optimize SharePoint pages and workflows.
  • Monitor adoption and recommend improvements.
• AI-Optimized Content, Search & Knowledge Discovery
  • Structure content for better discoverability.
  • Improve content findability through strong taxonomy and metadata.
  • Partner with teams to optimize content for AI retrieval.
  • Help establish AI-ready content governance standards.
• Microsoft 365, Automation & Workflow Enablement
  • Support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Build and maintain workflows and dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes.
• Martech, Web & Digital Support
  • Support marketing-owned digital systems and campaign assets.
  • Assist with website and martech updates.
  • Support analytics and performance reporting for marketing initiatives.
• Security, Compliance & Information Governance
  • Ensure environments follow security and data governance standards.
  • Support compliance with internal policies.
  • Partner with IT and Security teams on governance and audits.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with various teams.
  • Translate business needs into practical solutions.
  • Provide updates on migration progress and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, digital workplace platforms, web systems, or martech environments.
• Proven experience leading or supporting Confluence-to-SharePoint migrations.
• Experience working with Marketing, Corporate Communications, IT, or internal operations teams preferred.
• Experience in an IT services, consulting, B2B technology, or enterprise environment is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint administration.
• Experience with content migration planning, information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, permissions, governance, and content lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with migration tools such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, PowerShell, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise content management and collaboration portals.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to define requirements and manage priorities.
• Strong working knowledge of generative AI and automation tools.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and compliance.
