Role Description

The Digital Consultant is a trusted partner who creates customized integrated solutions with healthcare laboratory customers. Through workflow analysis, process assessments, and collaborative design, this role improves the efficiency, quality, and operational performance of the diagnostics market. Combining technical expertise with business acumen, you serve as a core digital and workflow subject matter expert across diverse healthcare and laboratory environments.

This field-based digital consultant influences local and regional decisions early in the sales process by translating customer needs into tangible value demonstrations. Combining technical expertise in diagnostic solutions with strong stakeholder engagement, the digital consultant ensures solutions deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes that drive customer satisfaction and Roche's growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Technology, Life Sciences AND 4 years of laboratory IT, general IT, product line experience OR 6 years experience of laboratory IT, general IT, product line experience
• 5+ years of experience in the diagnostics, healthcare, or manufacturing industry in Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, or equivalent
• Experience with process mapping, statistical analysis, and reporting tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to influence customer decision-makers
• MLT/MLS/MB ASCP certification, HT/HTL ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong regulatory knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and TJC
• Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent enterprise continuous improvement experience
• 3+ years of commercial experience in a sales, service-oriented, or consulting environment
• Proficiency using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Middleware; familiarity with the navify Portfolio
• Strong organization and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence and collaborate with people at various organizational levels
• Familiarity with Roche and/or competitor products and industry trends

• Able to travel +75% of the time

• The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $100,100.00 to $185,900.00 USD Annually
• Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law
