    • Serve as system owner for DAM platforms (e.g., Bynder, SharePoint, Rights Cloud)
    • Align asset management strategy to business, brand, and production goals
    • Evaluate tools, integrations, and technology improvements to future-proof the ecosystem
  • Governance & Standards

  • Information Architecture & Discoverability
    • Design scalable metadata frameworks and controlled vocabularies
    • Improve asset discoverability, usability, and consistency across the organization
    • Drive system optimization through audits, clean-ups, and continuous improvement
  • Operations & Workflow Design
    • Build and document streamlined ingestion, tagging, archiving, and distribution workflows
    • Partner with Creative and Production teams to embed DAM practices into daily processes
    • Lead migrations, consolidations, and large-scale archival projects
    • Create playbooks, training, and onboarding materials
  • Reporting & Business Impact
    • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track usage, storage, compliance, and efficiency gains
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate duplication, and improve speed-to-market
    • Present insights and recommendations to leadership
    • Responsibility for auditing expiring assets across internal and external platforms, regularly communicating expiration reports, and partnering cross-functionally to determine which assets should be renewed, refreshed, or retired.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead and mentor DAM specialists, librarians, or contract resources
    • Serve as primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders
    • Drive adoption through education, change management, and clear communication
    • Act as a trusted advisor to Creative and Marketing leadership

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in digital asset management, archives, or enterprise information governance
  • Experience leading DAM strategy or systems at scale
  • Strong knowledge of metadata standards (Dublin Core, MARC, schema.org), taxonomy design, and archival best practices
  • Experience with creative asset licensing (Video, Imagery, Marketing Collateral, Talent Agreements etc)
  • Hands-on experience with DAM platforms (Bynder, SharePoint, or similar)
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and operational mindset
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Requirements
