Role Description

As Deputy Service Manager, you will work alongside the Service Manager and wider leadership team to lead the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused treatment services across West Sussex. You will play a central role in creating a culture where both service users and staff can thrive — leading teams with empathy and accountability while driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

• Support the delivery of services that are trauma-informed, psychologically informed and built around the needs of the people accessing support.
• Work closely with partner agencies and stakeholders to strengthen pathways and improve outcomes across the wider system.
• Oversee operational performance and help maintain high standards of quality and safeguarding.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the service.

• Experience managing operational priorities within fast-paced services.
• Confidence working with complexity, risk and safeguarding responsibilities.

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel across West Sussex.
• Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week.
• Permanent contract.
