Role Description

The Deployment Lead is responsible for leading complex client onboarding and deployment initiatives across NIQ products, with a strong emphasis on change management, cross-functional coordination, and client readiness. This role serves as the primary client-facing deployment and onboarding owner for both new and existing clients, ensuring successful product deployment, effective client adoption, and a smooth transition to account teams for ongoing client management.

The Deployment Lead partners closely with Product, Operations, Sales, and Client Success / Insights teams to translate contractual scope and product changes into clear, actionable deployment plans that balance client needs with operational realities, mitigate client risk, and drive long-term client health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end client deployment execution from kickoff through go-live and post-launch transition, setting and managing client expectations in alignment with contractual scope, milestones, and client readiness.
  • Develop and lead integrated Deployment and Change Management plans that align to the clientโ€™s business needs and ways of working, driving successful product adoption while mitigating client and operational risk.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing deployment owner during onboarding, building trusted relationships quickly, providing clear communication, accountability, and proactive issue management.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Sales, Account Leads, and Client Success / Insights to translate scope into executable plans, holding partners accountable to commitments without direct authority.
  • Lead internal and client-facing forums to maintain transparency, proactively surface risks and dependencies, align stakeholders, and escalate decisions appropriately.
  • Ensure enablement materials, training, and communications are aligned to client needs by leveraging internal SMEs and prior deployment learnings.
  • Track deployment progress, risks, and outcomes using standard Deployment tools, and coordinate a clear handoff to account teams with documented ownership.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading complex client-facing initiatives in deployment, implementation, client success, or change management roles.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional workstreams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong client communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving scope.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SaaS, data, analytics, or insights products.
  • Familiarity with structured change management or client adoption frameworks.
  • Prior experience partnering closely with Product, Operations, or Commercial.

Success Measures (First 12 Months)

  • On-time, high-quality delivery of assigned client deployments aligned to contractual milestones.
  • Strong client adoption signals and smooth transition to account teams post-deployment.
  • Reduced deployment-related client issues through proactive planning and risk management.
  • Positive cross-functional feedback on collaboration and execution discipline.

Compensation

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $114,800 - $150,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidateโ€™s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare plan (medical, Rx, dental, and vision).
  • Flexible spending accounts and a Health Savings Account (including company contributions).
  • Life and AD&D insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan including company matching contributions.
  • Disability insurance.
  • Tuition Reimbursement.
  • Discretionary paid time off program and 11 paid holidays.
  • Flexible working environment.
  • Volunteer time off.
