[Hiring] Dental Insurance Specialist @DentalXChange

Role Description

As part of our Dental Billing Services (DBS) team, the Insurance Specialist will provide Revenue Cycle Management to dental practices across the country by completing client-elected services such as:

• Claim submission
• Claim follow up
• Payment posting
• Benefit verification with data entry

This role is client-facing and essential for ensuring our clients get paid accurately and on time, contributing to the financial health of dental practices.

In the first 6 months, the new hire will:

• Learn the DXC core values, client relationships, and systems
• Move into an Account Manager role, owning client relationships and overseeing work accuracy and timeliness
• Deliver monthly ROI reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews
• Become the trusted point of contact for their accounts

Growth is built into the role, transitioning from Insurance Specialist to Account Manager within a couple of months.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing a variety of dental services while maintaining PHI and HIPAA standards
• Managing day-to-day client communication and relationships
• Documenting all work in forms, spreadsheets, and client software
• Contacting insurance companies for accurate information
• Sending daily summaries of tasks to dental office staff
• Preparing and delivering monthly ROI statistics
• Meeting company and department policies and expectations
• Maintaining confidentiality standards
• Exhibiting exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of dental office experience
• Ability to work independently from home in a quiet space with high-speed internet
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in all MS Office applications and technology
• Ability to multitask accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of technical and procedural aspects
• Ability to solve practical problems in varied situations

Requirements

• Pay rate range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour DOE
