Role Description

Wall Residences is seeking a Day Services Program Manager for our Wall Community Options and Group Day Programs in the Roanoke Valley area, including Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem, Vinton, and surrounding areas.

• Community Options encompasses all areas of Community Engagement, Community Coaching, and Group Day.
• A successful Program Manager candidate will have:
  • A clinical background with a working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports.
  • The ability to develop supportive relationships with direct care support staff, individuals receiving services, and their families.
  • A background connecting people with meaningful community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required.
• At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) is preferred.
• Two years’ experience supervising employees is preferred.

Requirements

• Telecommuting position with some flexibility.
• Home office and internet access required.
• Hiring is dependent upon:
  • Excellent references.
  • An active driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • A criminal background check with acceptable results.
