[Hiring] Data Protection & Microsoft Purview Specialist @PwC

Role Description

As a Data Protection & Microsoft Purview Specialist, you will collaborate closely with various IT teams or clients to ensure robust protection of data across both cloud and on-premise environments, leveraging Microsoft Purview. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing data protection strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Integrating Microsoft Purview with other security and data management solutions.
• Monitoring data environments and identifying and mitigating risks.
• Ensuring that data protection measures are in line with best practices and organizational policies.
• Advising on data protection strategies and policies to ensure comprehensive data security.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.
• Experience with design, implementation and/or operation of a data protection solution, e.g. data loss prevention, data classification or information protection.
• Consistent, reliable, and professional personality with a sense of ownership, capable of working within international & diverse teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills: ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, alternatives, and recommendations.
• Proficiency in Czech and English, as you will use both languages in communication with clients.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, and other Microsoft security and compliance tools.
• Microsoft security certifications, such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 etc.
• Experience with data governance.
• Experience in implementing and managing data protection and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection.
• Understanding of data lifecycle management and data retention policies.
• Hands-on experience with auditing data access and data activity monitoring.
• Advanced knowledge of encryption technologies and secure data storage practices.
• Experience with conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and managing data breach incidents.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Project management skills.
• Proficiency in German language.
