Role Description

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining business information in company systems and databases. You will work with structured information such as operational records, orders, customer information, invoices, and other administrative data. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as the information you process supports day-to-day business operations. This is a fully remote position suited to someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while handling repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, office operations, customer service, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good typing and keyboard skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer-based systems
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to identify discrepancies and ask questions when information is unclear
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote work
• Authorization to work in the United States

Requirements

• Enter and update information accurately in company systems and databases
• Review records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Process information from documents, forms, spreadsheets, and other sources
• Maintain and update existing records when information changes
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect information and flag it for review
• Follow established procedures and data-entry guidelines
• Organize and maintain electronic records and documentation
• Perform basic data verification and quality checks
• Research discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate team when clarification is needed
• Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee, and business information
• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines
• Support other administrative and operational tasks as needed

Benefits

• $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
