Role Description

We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, engineer, and implement secure architectures across all pillars of the Zero Trust framework. This role focuses heavily on the Microsoft security stack (Entra ID, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview) while also supporting core enterprise tools including Splunk, Okta IGA, CyberArk PAM, and Veracode.

• Deploy identity controls, endpoint protections, and DLP policies using Intune, Defender, and Purview.
• Implement and configure cloud identity and access management (IAM) platforms.
• Ensure all solutions comply with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, and RMF standards.
• Assist with the onboarding of Zero Trust technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; manage tasks and track progress using Jira and Confluence.
• Communicate technical requirements and security metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• 3+ years of information/cyber security experience (U.S. Federal consulting experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Security Suite (Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• Experience with enterprise tools (Splunk, Okta, CyberArk, Veracode) preferred.
• Security+ certification required; CISSP, CCSP, or Azure/AWS certifications highly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required (No H1-B).
