[Hiring] Cybersecurity Analyst Intern @CAI

Role Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern to participate in a structured cybersecurity internship program focused on:

• Security operations
• Vulnerability management
• Threat analysis
• Incident response
• System hardening
• Governance, risk, and compliance activities within a simulated client environment

This position will be Part-Time and Remote. Only candidates with work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree, certificate, or training program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking concepts, operating systems, and security best practices
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to create professional reports and technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment
• Reliable computer and internet connection
• Ability to complete weekly assignments and deliverables within established timelines

Requirements

• Familiarity with AWS cloud concepts and services
• Exposure to vulnerability assessment tools, security monitoring platforms, or SIEM technologies
• Experience with cybersecurity labs, coursework, capture-the-flag competitions, or personal security projects
• Understanding of incident response processes and cybersecurity frameworks
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance concepts
• Previous internship, academic project, or hands-on experience related to cybersecurity
