As a Cyber/IT Governance Security Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in maturing the Governance Framework at GDIT.

• Lead/Manage/Support Cyber and IT functions in support of the Governance Framework
• Collaborate with all core GDIT corporate functions
• Drive risk and compliance outcomes for the GDIT enterprise network
• Utilize deep understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management to ensure organizational accountability

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Proven experience implementing and managing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (ie. CMMC, ISO, or NIST)
• US Person
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align governance efforts with business goals
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in tools and platforms related to cyber governance and risk management
• Strong understanding of federal regulatory and compliance requirements across agencies
• Ability to assess cybersecurity risks and implement controls to mitigate risks
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and grow a team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative mindset to work with business units, senior executives, and external partners
• Strong problem-solving capabilities

Requirements

• Experience w/ government contracting or federal environment preferred
• Experience w/ NIST 800-171, NIST 800-053 preferred
