Role Description
Are you a CTO with startup experience? Do you have network, blockchain, gambling, games, and e-commerce experience? Are you capable of not only leading a team but teaching from the ground up a group of less experienced engineers scattered around the world? Are you willing to get your hands dirty?
- Maintain oleolesport while building a social network and messaging platform for football.
- Manage exclusive fan travel sponsorship deals worth millions in revenue, including marketing rights that will drive traffic to the new social network and sell ticket packages.
- Build a native platform utilizing Rust, focusing on long-term success and owning all technology.
- Create a brand synonymous with football, involving 20,000 clubs and 210 national teams.
- Develop a social network and marketplace for football, offering brands opportunities to sell tickets, hospitality, merchandise, gaming, gambling, and other services.
- Apply world-class machine learning, artificial intelligence, visual search, data storage, and client technologies to one of the largest sports data sets.
- Disrupt Wikipedia’s football history category using AI.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years as a CTO with experience leading engineering teams at early-stage startups.
- Strong background in Rust or the ability to adapt quickly.
- Ability to motivate and develop junior engineers.
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to work for deferred compensation until funding closes.
- Access to capital is a plus, though not required.
Requirements
- Lead and build our Rust-native platform from the ground up.
- Mentor and develop a young engineering team working for deferred compensation.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of our architecture.
- Work hands-on with the codebase, setting up best practices.
- Coordinate development timelines for Phase 1 (7–8 months) and Phase 2 (9–10 months).
- Align with our vision to build the world's largest sports social platform.
