[Hiring] Contractor Dispatcher @Frontdoor, Inc.

Role Description

As a Contractor Dispatcher, you will dispatch service calls to an authorized network of service contractors and/or personnel by answering incoming calls and making outbound calls, interpreting contracts and taking appropriate action.

• Researches, identifies, and arranges with an appropriate network contractor to complete work orders that cannot be automatically dispatched.
• May arrange for emergency/urgent work orders to be completed by coordinating with both customer and contractor.
• May negotiate with contractors to reach agreeable terms for unusual, inconvenient, or urgent work orders.
• Dispatches work orders following established guidelines.
• Places outbound calls to customers; provides necessary follow-up.
• Makes outbound calls and sends mails to locate authorized contractors.
• Interprets contracts for contractors and customers.
• Generates work orders using applicable software.
• May assume other duties as applied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1+ years of experience in one or more of the repair trades (HVAC, appliance, plumbing, etc.) required.

• Good attention to detail.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication.
