Role Description

We are seeking a Contract Tax Software Trainer with expertise in CCH Axcess Tax or similar cloud-based tax software to deliver engaging and efficient virtual training on tax software solutions for our client, a leading provider of tax, accounting, and audit software for professionals. This is an ad hoc contract position, ideal for a freelancer or someone looking for part-time, flexible hours.

Deliver web-based training sessions focused on CCH Axcess Tax or comparable cloud-based tax software to clients, including accounting firms, tax departments, and government agencies.
Provide clear, concise, and engaging training with minimal preparation, leveraging your existing expertise in tax software solutions.
Assist with software demonstrations, content creation, and consulting services as needed.
Manage your own schedule by selecting available training slots, depending on seasonal demand.

Qualifications

In-depth, hands-on experience with CCH Axcess Tax or similar leading tax software solutions, including preparation, review, and tax law.
A genuine interest in learning and teaching, with the ability to deliver training sessions without extensive onboarding or training.
Previous experience teaching or coaching professionals, preferably in a virtual setting, with an ability to explain complex software in a simple and relatable way.
Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting degree preferred); CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a freelance environment.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching.

Requirements

You are an expert in CCH Axcess Tax or similar cloud-based tax software with the ability to train others efficiently and with minimal preparation.
You have an outgoing personality and enjoy building relationships with clients and learners.
You are looking for flexible, non-regular hours and enjoy a variety of work assignments based on seasonal needs.
