Role Description

We're looking for an exceptional Context Engineer to design, build and maintain the enterprise context layer that enables data discoverability, business understanding, AI-assisted decision-making and agentic automation.

Qualifications

• Metadata management experience, including business glossary, technical metadata, lineage and ownership
• Semantic modeling experience, including business concepts, metrics, KPIs and semantic layers
• Knowledge modeling experience, including ontologies, taxonomies, domain models and knowledge graphs
• Experience with data product discoverability, documentation and stewardship
• Context engineering experience for AI systems, including RAG, vector search, embeddings and retrieval strategies
• Experience with data contracts, schema governance and domain-driven design
• Business process analysis and knowledge capture
• Experience with AI copilots, knowledge assistants and agentic workflows
• Information architecture and enterprise knowledge management experience
• Experience with tools such as OpenMetadata, DataHub, Collibra or Microsoft Purview
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
• Experience with dbt Semantic Layer or equivalent semantic platforms
• Experience with knowledge graph technologies
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search platforms
• Experience with GenAI and agent frameworks

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience designing context layers, semantic models, knowledge assets or retrieval systems that improve AI-assisted decision-making, discoverability and agentic automation.

Preferred Background

• Banking, regulated-industry, or large-enterprise experience
• Experience with both modern and traditional data platforms, e.g. Databricks, Oracle, Informatica.
