Role Description

You are:

• Proven work experience in the Resources industry (Chemicals, Natural Resources, and Energy) and customer functions in B2B organizations.
• A strategic problem solver with extensive consulting and industry experience.
• A clear and effective communicator with an open, relatable manner with clients and colleagues.
• Performing well in an agile, fast-paced working environment.
• Balancing being a leader with contributing to the collective efforts of the team.
• Possessing energy and drive, personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning.
• Having a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses.

You also are:

• Able to partner with Resources clients including Chief Customer Officers, Business Strategy leads, and Customer Operations leaders.
• A strong critical thinker with the ability to understand client challenges and define the right strategies and solutions.
• Knowledgeable about trends in Resources, digital, commerce, sales, and Generative AI solutions.
• Having a high-level understanding of how technology platforms and ecosystems fit into the digital world.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further growth and value creation.
• Possessing excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in the Resources space with a robust understanding of the Resources customer engagement models.
• 2+ years experience in consulting, strategy, or equivalent role.
• 2+ years experience leading multi-discipline teams.
• Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

• Understanding client needs, developing new strategies, and delivering high impact solutions.
• Providing thought leadership on trends in digital transformation and customer commercial operations.

• Leading value analysis to generate insights and identify value creation opportunities.
• Partnering with clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues.
• Growing expertise and coaching junior team members.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting the profitability of client engagements and identifying opportunities for extension, cross-sell, or up-sell.
