Role Description
The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Compliance Coordinator will work full-time for a growing business based in the United States to support its Global Sourcing Team. This role involves:
- Assisting with developing and implementing compliance processes
- Coordinating day-to-day product safety, ethical sourcing, quality control, and environmental requirements
- Cross-department collaboration to ensure products meet all company, state, federal, and international standards
The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic environment, manages multiple tasks effectively, and takes initiative in problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity for growth in product safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in compliance, product safety, or quality assurance
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Interest in learning about product safety standards, quality assurance processes, and compliance protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to stakeholders
- Basic understanding or interest in DUPRO (During Production), final pre-shipment inspection processes, and general product safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) with experience in SmartSheet; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
Requirements
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in compliance assessments, testing, and documentation
- Communication Skills: Maintains clear and professional communication with suppliers, third-party testing facilities, and internal teams
- Problem-Solving Skills: Identifies and resolves compliance issues efficiently, ensuring adherence to regulations
- Organizational Skills: Manages multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-ups in a structured manner
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SmartSheet and NetSuite is a plus
- Research & Analysis: Ability to research and interpret government regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Works well independently and as part of a team to ensure compliance processes run smoothly
- Adaptability & Initiative: Takes proactive steps in improving compliance procedures and adapting to changing regulations
