[Hiring] Competitive Intelligence Specialist @SentinelOne

Role Description

As a Competitive Intelligence Specialist, you will operate at the intersection of AI-powered workflows, strategic research, and sales enablement. This is not a traditional CI role; we are building a program where intelligence is systematically generated, continuously updated, and deeply embedded into how our go-to-market teams sell and compete every day.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Market Intelligence, you will:

• Own and evolve our Win/Loss program, managing the overall cadence, scope, and quality of deal coverage across Endpoint, Identity, and MDR segments.
• Analyze and synthesize interview findings into clear competitive themes, patterns, and deal-level insights.
• Translate Win/Loss themes into sales plays in partnership with the Sales Enablement team.
• Deliver regular Win/Loss reporting to Sales leadership, Product, and Marketing.
• Build and maintain AI-assisted research and analysis workflows using Claude and other tools.
• Develop reusable prompt frameworks for various competitive analysis tasks.
• Document and iterate on workflow templates for scalable CI outputs.
• Stay current on AI tooling relevant to competitive intelligence.
• Own battlecard development, maintaining a current and accurate library.
• Act as a real-time competitive resource for Sales and Sales Engineering during active deals.
• Deliver competitive training and enablement sessions.
• Serve as the human in the loop for AI-assisted content development.
• Monitor the competitive landscape across key vendors.
• Synthesize signals from multiple sources into clear, prioritized intelligence.
• Contribute to and maintain a centralized intelligence repository.
• Partner with Product Marketing to align competitive positioning with broader messaging.
• Collaborate with Product Management to surface competitive gaps.
• Work across Marketing, Channel, and Partner teams to embed competitive intelligence in external-facing programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, strategy, or a related field, preferably within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience with or genuine interest in building a Win/Loss program.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar).
• Strong project management skills.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• A natural sense of curiosity.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and earn trust with stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
