Role Description

As a CDI Specialist, you will work remotely from your home office, partnering with client facilities to review and analyze medical records. Your role will involve interpreting documentation and crafting effective physician queries to enhance the quality, completeness, and accuracy of medical records.

Qualifications

CCDS, CDIP, CCS or CRC certification
2-3 years inpatient coding or CDI experience
The ability to work Friday-Tuesday
The ability to communicate with physicians and hospital staff in a collaborative manner to promote appropriate clinical documentation and quality improvement
Basic proficiency with email and MS Office
Basic proficiency with remote-based connectivity including using a VPN or Virtual Machine and 2 factor authentications with access to a smart phone
Basic use of video conference technology such as MS Teams, Zoom, etc.
