[Hiring] Clinical Database Programmer @Alimentiv

Role Description

As a Clinical Database Programmer (internally referred to as Database Programmer), you will support the development, testing, and maintenance of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems used in clinical trials. Working within a collaborative and innovative technical team, you will be involved in:

• Building clinical studies
• Developing electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs)
• Configuring edit checks
• Supporting data integrations, primarily using Medidata Rave

You will also have opportunities to contribute to new initiatives, explore AI-driven solutions, and support continuous improvements in study development and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Previous experience in clinical database development, EDC programming, or clinical study builds
• Previous experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of eCRFs, edit checks, database testing, and clinical data management processes
• Understanding of programming principles, logic, and database development
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Experience supporting EDC integrations, technical initiatives, or bid defence activities
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Medidata Rave, including study builds and configuration (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of C# programming and development of custom functions within Medidata Rave (Nice to Have)
• Experience with AI tools, automation, or AI-assisted programming to improve study development and efficiency (Nice to Have)
