[Hiring] Claims Operations Associate @Somewhere

Role Description

Support the end-to-end claims process, ensuring clients receive timely and accurate resolutions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

• Provide dedicated operational and administrative support to the Claims team
• Accurately process claim submissions, including gathering and verifying required documentation
• Track and monitor the progress of open claims, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in claims systems and CRMs
• Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and resolve inquiries
• Assist with preparing claims reports, summaries, and status updates for stakeholders
• Support billing processes related to claims, including coordination with carriers and internal teams
• Organize and track outstanding claim requirements, subjectivities, and compliance needs
• Operate efficiently within a tech-enabled workflow and adopt new systems quickly

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ of experience
• Previous professional background within insurance (brokerages, agencies, or carriers preferred)
• Deep comprehension of industry-specific workflows and terminology
• Proficiency navigating CRM platforms or insurance management software
• Extreme precision and a dedicated focus on data integrity
• Proven capability to coordinate diverse tasks across multiple client portfolios
• Exceptional literacy and written communication capabilities
• Ease operating within highly organized, technology-centric operational frameworks
• Highly dependable, self-starting, and proactive work style
• Ambition to develop specialized expertise as the company scales
