[Hiring] Claims - Complex Property Claims Specialist I @Cincinnati Financial

Role Description

Headquarters Property Claims seeks an experienced property claims professional to remotely oversee complex property claims in the Western Region. A candidate residing in the western half of the United States is preferred.

Be ready to:

• Investigate and adjust large and complex property claims in the United States
• Analyze property coverage forms to include business income and extra expense
• Resolve questions of coverage and value of claims
• Prepare and/or evaluate estimates
• Assist in catastrophe situations
• Engage in proactive claims handling, while providing superior claims service
• Recommend timely and adequate reserves for the ultimate claim payment
• Prepare detailed narrative factual reports and statements of loss
• Assist in the education of Field Claims in property claims handling

Qualifications

• Five or more years of demonstrated expertise in property claim handling
• The ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience with coverage forms, policies and claims procedure
• Proficient in Xactimate
• The ability to travel as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and insurance designations preferred
