[Hiring] Claims Administrator @Remote Recruitment

Role Description

You will move claims through from first notification to settlement, keeping the file complete and the claimant informed at every step. It suits someone organised and steady who can be warm with people having a bad week.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Log new claims accurately and open the case file
• Gather supporting documents and chase what is missing
• Update claimants on progress at agreed intervals
• Liaise with assessors, suppliers and internal teams
• Track claim status and escalate anything stalling
• Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting

Qualifications

• Experience in claims, insurance administration or case-based customer service
• Confident handling detailed documentation without losing track
• Clear, empathetic written and phone communication
• Comfortable with a claims or CRM system and structured processes
• Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

Nice to Have

• Exposure to motor, property or health claims
• Familiarity with FCA-regulated environments
• Experience handling complaints
