[Hiring] Chief Executive Officer @saas.group

Role Description

The role is for a future CEO position at saas.group, tied to an upcoming acquisition in the HR tech and workforce management space. We are continuously acquiring new businesses and are building a strong talent pool of ambitious leaders who want to step into CEO roles within our portfolio.

As CEO, you will own the brand's P&L, strategy, growth, culture, and overall performance, driving both short-term execution and long-term strategic direction. You will work closely with our leadership team, board, and the broader saas.group community to deliver impact across go-to-market, product, operations, and finance.

• Own growth for a product-led (PLG) SaaS business: sharpen the product, drive acquisition and activation, and build a scalable go-to-market engine.
• Drive operational excellence: build budgets, track KPIs, optimize ROI, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
• Build, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team; create succession plans and ensure organizational resilience.
• Foster innovation by identifying disruptive trends, experimenting with new business models, and making data-driven bets.
• Champion a strong culture: set high performance standards, encourage collaboration, ensure alignment with saas.group values, and embed diversity and inclusion.
• Be ready to take on additional brands within the same space as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience as a CEO, GM, or senior executive in a B2B SaaS HR Tech company, ideally product-led (PLG).
• A strong operational and commercial background.
• Marketing and product as core strengths.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading organizational transformation through process improvements.
• A talent magnet: skilled at hiring, developing, and retaining top performers.
• Strong people leadership: ability to set goals and hold teams accountable.
• Comfort managing more than one brand or business line at once.
• Fluent German speaker with strong English.
• Visionary mindset with the ability to communicate a compelling long-term direction.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• AI Literacy & Application: actively use AI tools to enhance productivity.
