Role Description

The Cellular Workflow Automation Field Applications Scientist is responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales application support for our automated cell culture and complex biology platforms, including live demonstrations, customer trainings, and troubleshooting. This position reports to the North America Sales and Applications Manager for Cellular Workflow Automation and Field Applications Scientist team working remotely to cover the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Applicants need to be based in Pennsylvania, Ohio or the Mid-Atlantic.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent discipline.
• 2 or more years’ hands-on experience with laboratory automation, including automated liquid handlers.
• 2 or more years’ hands-on experience with long term cell culture, including iPSCs.
• Experience with 3D biology, including organoids, spheroids, tumoroids preferred.
• Must have the ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
• Must be able to lift ~30lbs on a regular basis.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
