[Hiring] Cash Research Associate @PharMerica

Role Description

We are seeking Cash Research Associates to join our Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to move from a retail to office environment for those who are willing to learn claims, billing and insurance processing.

• Research and evaluate unapplied cash balances for state compliance.
• Facilitate the escheatment process for the state.
• Work with responsible parties, receiving in/out bound telephone calls, providing customer service and following-up.
• Resolve assigned portfolio of accounts with internal and external customers.
• Maintain productivity records.
• Research pharmacy accounts requiring special attention with Facility Collection Manager/Supervisor.
• Assist in special projects as needed with management team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience is required.
• 1 year billing and/or collections experience is required.
• Third Party Billing or collections/billing experience in the healthcare industry; AS400 computer experience is preferred.
• 10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word, and basic computer knowledge is required.
• Medical billing and coding is preferred.

Requirements

• One (1) year of Billing and/or Collections experience is required.
• This is a remote position; applicants can live anywhere within the continental USA.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm Mountain Time (non-negotiable).
