Role Description
This role involves analyzing demand requirements and ensuring efficient delivery strategies.
- Analyze demand requirements to determine the most efficient delivery strategies
- Maintain Purchase Order data integrity and ensure promise date accuracy
- Obtain supplier delivery commitments and expedite when necessary to meet required dates
- Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delivery, receiving, and quality concerns
- Maintain Oracle Purchasing attributes and procurement records
- Monitor on-time performance of incoming materials to support production schedules
- Track and improve supplier performance as part of a continuous improvement objective
- Purchase materials to meet production and customer requirements as needed
- Make recommendations on economic ordering and inventory management strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, planning, or other relevant supply chain field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Oracle or other ERP systems
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
