Role Description

We are looking for individuals with BSL (British Sign Language) and strong technical video knowledge with a background and work experience in video editing to join our We localize team in Ireland.

• Location: Ireland
• Type of employment: Contract
• Project duration: 12 Months with Possible extension
• Working schedule: 08:30-17:00 or 09:00-17:30 Irish Standard Time with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break (40 hours/week)
• Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday shift
• Yearly Salary: €35,000/year
• Successful candidates must have valid work authorization for Ireland with no need for sponsorship

Qualifications

• British Sign Language (this is a must)
• Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry
• Possess a thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
• Willingness to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment
• 2-4 years of experience working with digital video
• Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot video/system playback issues and identify trends to propose short and long-term solutions
• Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity with their product offerings
• Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge
• Professional/advanced proficiency in any other language would be a big plus (optional but valuable)
