[Hiring] Bodily Injury Senior Adjuster @GM Financial

Role Description

As a Bodily Injury Sr Adjuster, you will:

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust low to moderately complex auto claims involving third party injuries and first party uninsured or underinsured motorist losses.
• Confirm coverage is active for the loss.
• Investigate liability for a loss by researching applicable laws and regulations, interviewing involved parties, analyzing damage photos, and reviewing police reports.
• Negotiate and settle injury claims with claimants or policyholders directly, or with attorneys representing them.
• Work under direct supervision to perform routine work assignments and problem resolution.
• This is a remote position that does not require any travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in an inbound phone-intensive, contact center environment using a headset.
• Knowledge of how to build lasting relationships with internal and external customers and business partners.
• Computer literacy in a Windows operation environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change.
• Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset.
• Able to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 4+ years of auto claims adjusting experience required.
• 2+ years of experience handling injury claims required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• FL/GA/TX/AZ experience preferred.
• Insurance Adjuster License required.
