[Hiring] Bodily Injury Adjuster-Litigation, Moderate/Complex @Allstate

Role Description

A day in the life of a Litigation Bodily Injury Adjuster, and what it takes to do the job!

• Investigating automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles, resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involved.
• Working remotely from home while efficiently handling responsibilities.
• Assessing coverage, liability, and damages while providing exceptional customer service.
• Communicating with customers and attorneys through various channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages.
• Engaging in negotiation processes to reach fair and timely injury settlements with all parties involved.

Candidates for this role must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones. This position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Prior represented or litigation third-party casualty claim handling experience is required.
• New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania bodily injury claims experience preferred.
• 3+ years of moderate/complex bodily injury claim handling experience is preferred.
• Prior litigation claims experience a plus.
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone, to establish rapport and assess claims accurately.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently.
• Proficient knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination and state regulations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully.
• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite a plus.

Requirements

• As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license which includes passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor.
• If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire.
• If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.
