Role Description

At Job Duck, we are seeking a dedicated Billing Assistant to support a growing legal practice by ensuring billing processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and with care. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial workflows, supporting attorneys and staff, and helping clients navigate billing matters with clarity and professionalism. Your day-to-day work will directly impact cash flow, client satisfaction, and internal operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable balancing empathy with firm policies. • Compensation Range: 1142 USD to 1220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate professionally with internal teams and clients regarding billing matters
• Support intake processes when required
• Maintain accurate billing and payment records
• Collect payments and monitor outstanding balances
• Assist during high-volume billing periods, particularly mid-month and month-end
• Review and verify time entries for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct financial follow-ups with clients as needed
• Process client invoices in a timely and consistent manner

Qualifications

• Full-time position following an EST schedule (Georgia time zone)
• English-only role
• Immediate availability preferred
• This role supports a legal practice focused on estate planning and probate
