Role Description

The AVP, Office of Agile – Governance and Process Analyst supports Synchrony’s Office of Agile Governance and Process function by advancing enterprise-wide adoption, consistency, and maturity of Agile governance and process practices. This role requires strong partnership and relationship-building with Leadership, the Agile Community of Practice, and key governance stakeholders.

This role helps manage Agile process and control governance by contributing to the development, maintenance, and ongoing refinement of policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation. The position also supports an “audit-ready” posture through control execution support, evidence preparedness, and governance reporting.

This role is responsible for strengthening governance and process through automation and AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort, increase consistency, improve cycle times, and enhance monitoring and control effectiveness. The Analyst will identify opportunities, define requirements, and coordinate delivery of end-to-end workflow automation, reporting, and AI-supported insights to scale governance execution and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion continuous improvement and simplification of Office of Agile governance processes while ensuring adherence to applicable policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify governance and process automation and AI-enabled opportunities, define business needs, document requirements, and translate them into actionable workflow/solution designs.
  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of workflow automation, dashboards/reporting, and AI-supported insights in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Community of Practice to drive awareness and integration of updates or changes to Agile processes and guidelines through training, communication, monitoring, and coaching.
  • Partner with the VP, Office of Agile – Process & Governance to maintain regulatory readiness and an “audit-ready” posture, including demonstrating control design and execution through clear documentation and evidence.
  • Collaborate with Office of Agile Leadership, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters, and governance partners to align governance, process, and assurance activities across Agile delivery.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of either Technology or Process Management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/G.E.D. and minimum of 8 years of either Technology or Process Management experience.
  • Experience working with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, ServiceNow, Agentic AI (Rovo), Power Automate, Power Apps, MS Lists management, SharePoint Development & Administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies with at least one SAFe Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with Policies, Standards, and Procedures management.
  • Demonstrated experience of driving improvements across complex organizations and processes of varying levels of maturity.

  • Prior experience at Synchrony preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of either Technology or Process Management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/G.E.D. and minimum of 8 years of either Technology or Process Management experience.

12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST
