Role Description

This role involves partnering with various stakeholders to drive strategic priorities and improve operational efficiencies across the enterprise.

Partner with Strategic Ops leaders, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders to drive strategic priorities.
Analyze customer/employee journeys and identify improvement opportunities.
Define short- and long-term Ops and Tech roadmap with IT and various UW leaders.
Incorporate Strategic Analytics capabilities into Operations workflows.
Advise on transformation initiative prioritizations from an enterprise-wide perspective.
Drive business desires, outcomes, and requirements, acting as a liaison between UW and IT.
Provide market insights on leading practices to inform business priorities.

Execution responsibilities include:

Driving improvement in the CX/EX journeys in collaboration with Strategic Analytics.
Implementing technology and analytics-enabled workflows with IT and other functions.
Implementing automation strategies and technology-driven workflows with IT and Lean Deployment Specialists.
Reviewing and providing feedback on IT value generation.

Triangulation CoE responsibilities include:

Participating in the development of the Triangulation COE to support enterprise-wide business objectives.
Engaging in cross-functional problem-solving across IT, Data, Strategic Analytics, and other functions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the development of large scale commercial and specialty Underwriting Systems (DuckCreek, Guidewire, Unqork, UW Platforms, etc.)
Experience with strategic enterprise content management platforms including form design, generation, and automation.
Effective communication of enterprise strategy and operational plans to stakeholders.
Ability to discern operational and tech implications of strategic business plans.
Ability to partner with underwriting, technology, and analytics to deliver solutions.
Experience documenting strategic requirements and identifying opportunities to improve customer and employee journeys.
Familiarity with Process Mapping, Lean Process Improvement principles, and Agile frameworks.
Experience partnering with IT development teams in Agile delivery & execution.
Deep understanding of the insurance product lifecycle.
Certified Scrum Product Owner, preferred.
Proficiency with Image Right, Policy Decisions Evolution, and Policy Writer are a plus.
Experience in consulting or working at large commercial insurers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
5-10 years of prior experience in Insurance Operations, Underwriting, Business Planning/Product Owner, IT, or related roles.

Benefits

Base salary range: $131,000 - $165,000/year.
Position is incentive eligible.
Total individual compensation will consider geographic location, scope & responsibilities, qualifications, and business needs.
