Role Description

The Automotive Expert Commentary role is a remote contract position open to experts located anywhere in the United Kingdom.

• Provide clear, accurate commentary on vehicle production, suppliers, distribution, pricing, electrification, regulation, demand, and automotive technology.
• Expected commitment is approximately four hours per month.
• Review Authority.inc research, datasets, and forecasts to identify errors, weak assumptions, and missing context.
• Your commentary will be used to fine-tune the most accurate forecasting models in the world, designed to predict events, decisions, and outcomes across automotive markets globally.
• May be featured as an expert correspondent for your specialist niche, market segment, or geographic area.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in automotive.
• Deep knowledge of at least one relevant vertical, function, or specialist discipline.
• Firsthand experience with the sector’s decisions, operations, risks, and market dynamics.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
• A detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy and consistency.
