Role Description

As an Endpoint Security Engineer 2, you will:

• Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of Aurora Protect and Aurora Focus solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them through deployments and serving as a technical escalation point.
• Configure and tune security rules to support effective threat detection.
• Monitor system dashboards and escalate irregularities to senior team members.
• Contribute to scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
• Create and maintain customer-facing documentation, such as setup guides and FAQs.
• Share client feedback with project leads and participate in continuous learning sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience (advanced degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles (e.g., Security Engineer, Consultant, SOC Analyst, or Endpoint Security Administrator).
• Basic knowledge of endpoint security tools and threat detection concepts.
• Exposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell) and willingness to grow these skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and terminology.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Business-level proficiency in German and English.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
