Role Description

This position is responsible for providing support to the provider recruitment and contracting process to ensure strategic coverage of providers for assigned territory. Responsibilities include:

• Developing knowledge of products, contracting language, and negotiation skills.
• Small to mid-size contract negotiations for physicians and physician groups.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with providers.
• Providing support for complex hospital and physician contracting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare management (preferred).
• Advanced experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Co-pilot.
• Experience with spreadsheets, claims data, and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree OR 4 years managed care operations experience handling independent work.
• Meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills.
• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office.
• Analytical skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays.
• Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
• This is a Telecommute (Remote) role.
