Role Description

Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and emerging major donor prospects, building relationships, increasing engagement, and advancing donors toward deeper investment in the organization. This role owns the one-to-many fundraising program for annual fund donors, combining digital outreach, targeted communications, and virtual community moments designed to keep this audience connected.

• Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors and emerging major donor prospects.
• Build genuine relationships through personalized outreach, including calls, handwritten notes, and invitations to events.
• Develop and execute tailored cultivation and solicitation plans for each donor.
• Use research and evaluation findings for donor conversation and stewardship.
• Identify donors with the capacity to move into a major gifts relationship.
• Track all activity in EveryAction, maintaining accurate records.
• Own the strategy and execution of the one-to-many fundraising program.
• Design and deploy digital outreach that reflects the organization's voice.
• Build and manage a calendar of virtual community moments.
• Ensure program content is accurate and aligned with the broader cultivation strategy.
• Use data and testing to refine the program over time.
• Ensure timely, meaningful stewardship for every portfolio donor.
• Develop differentiated stewardship approaches for donors at different levels.
• Write and send personalized acknowledgments and impact updates.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of compliance distinctions between Galvanize USA and Galvanize Action.
• Maintain strong EveryAction discipline across the portfolio and program.
• Participate in regular portfolio reviews with the Director of Individual Giving.
• Contribute to the team's collective knowledge of the donor base.
• Complete timesheets every two weeks.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of fundraising experience.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and building relationships with mid-level or major donors.
• Experience with one-to-many fundraising programs.
• Experience with EveryAction or a comparable CRM.
• Authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

• Strong writing skills for donor communications.
• Relational orientation and ability to earn trust with donors.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and a program simultaneously.
• Genuine affinity for the mission and understanding of the cultural landscape.
• Ability to travel for cultivation events and donor meetings.

• Starting salary range: $88,000-95,000.
