[Hiring] Associate Director of Infrastructure and Architecture @Humana

Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Director of Infrastructure and Architecture who will lead the engineers integrating 4 current and all future subsidiaries into enterprise technologies, processes, and teams. They will have ownership of 14 broad technology platforms while each subsidiary is moving through the integration pipeline.

The Associate Director, Infrastructure Architecture designs and develops IT infrastructure architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Associate Director requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

Home Health, OneHome, Conviva, & Trueshore and future acquisitions are integrating their infrastructure and platforms into the enterprise technologies, processes, and teams.

In order to realize the desired future state for M&A Integrations, this leader must have broad technology exposure and depth.

Their engineering team will have ownership of the following technology domains for subsidiaries:

• Distributed Compute Hardware, Hypervisor, Server OS, and Supporting Tooling
• Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS from all Hyperscalers
• Block, File, and Backup Storage
• Distributed Databases
• DNS & DHCP
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Public Key Infrastructure
• Infrastructure & Platform Monitoring
• Infrastructure & Platform Automation & Orchestration (IaC)

The Associate Director performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6 or more years of infrastructure and public cloud experience
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience
• 2 or more years of management experience
• Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies
• Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a Technical Field (Preferred)
• Agile, PMP, or PMI certification (Preferred)
• IT M&A integration experience (Preferred)
• Hands-on and leadership experience in many technology domains detailed below (Preferred):
• Distributed Compute Hardware, Hypervisor, Server OS, and Supporting Tooling
• Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS from all Hyperscalers
• Block, File, and Backup Storage
• Distributed Databases

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$142,300 - $195,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based upon company and/or individual performance.
